Compensation: $19 - $20/HR

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Summit Tools is currently seeking a permanent, full-time PARTS COORDINATOR based out of our Burnaby location. To ensure success in this position, the incumbent will need to have working knowledge of computers and use of repair equipment. In addition to these qualities, we require the following skills:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend client service inquiries by e-mail, phone, or fax
  • Deliver excellent all-around repair customer service
  • Organizing all parts inventory
  • Knowledge and understanding of all power tool related parts
  • Minimize rework and repeat service related issues
  • Maintain a high level of workmanship when completing basic repairs for electrical and pneumatical tools
  • Knowledge of warranty policies
  • Coordinate and follow up with customers for parts and tool orders

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effective in English (written and spoken)
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Must have experience in a customer service environment
  • Must be highly proficient using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and think logically
  • Preference will be given to applicants with power tool repair experience
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to complete tasks in tight time frames
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible

· Completion of a criminal record check

EDUCATION

· Must have completed Grade 12

· Must have basic knowledge of power tools

· Must have mechanical and electrical knowledge
