Position Title:              STOCK ASSOCIATE

Job Type:                     FULL-TIME, PERMANENT

Location:                     PORT COQUITLAM

Compensation:            $14/HOUR


We are a family-owned business and have been in operation since 1993. We are well established in the Tool Industry and the proud leader in retail sales of Power Tools and Construction Tools. Our Flagship store in Burnaby is a high-volume store serving contractors from all over Metro Vancouver. Our other local store is in Port Coquitlam.


  • Retail staff are not required to work evenings, Sundays or statutory holidays

  • Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise
  • Tag, attach, or change price on merchandise, referring to price list and current promotions
  • Occasional warehouse work, receiving shipments
  • Set up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales
  • Request merchandise from suppliers based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed including using proper lifting techniques


  • Minimum 1 year of stocking/merchandising experience
  • Able to lift, pull and push up to and including 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand and walk around for extended periods of time
  • Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks or box cutters is an asset
  • Completion of grade 12
  • A Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
  • Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Completion of a criminal record check
  • Available to work a full-time schedule, including Saturdays with a split weekend
  • Comfortable using Microsoft office – specifically Excel
